  Differences between Environmental Studies and Environmental Science  Environmental studies  is an interdisciplinary major that deals with the interactions between society and the environment. Within this field, you focus on the political, historical, and legal aspects of the environment. ( Ford, 2021) There are multiple career paths that you can follow when majoring in environmental studies. Careers like Environmental monitoring technicians, Sustainability coordinators, or Corporate social responsibility officers are all possible paths you can take. (Blaylock,2020)   Environmental science  is also an interdisciplinary-based major. You focus more on measuring and studying the environment through the use of engineering, geology, and chemistry.  First Post  The thing that I am looking forward to the most would be getting a basic understanding of environmental science. I enjoy learning about things relating to environmental science but, I have never taken a class specifically for this course. Hopefully, we learn about sustainability and how to live more eco-friendly. I think this class will be about human impact on the environment as well as how past and current environmental issues are connected.
